One of the unbilled festival highlights was the impromptu performance by Darren Robinson, aka rising star Only Man. In My Life and Let Me Show You caused a veritable nasal twitch fest amongst the A&R teams sniffing around the backstage area. Best described as Badly Drawn Boy produced by Massive Attack, Only Man is a name that might well be causing a stir on the main stage in the not too distant future!

Let me show you " holds you hard. A love song, but summoned by the kind that can't get through. Honest and clear, Onlyman is mellow, not melodramatic. The vocals fly, and take you with them. "Hold me now, or i'll be on my way." The melody gets you, and the mood is strong. The stranger can be moved, and you wonder if the song's subject ever was too.

"Onlyman is a new solo artist with a warm and soulful 70's esq sound. This is combined with dreamy and distinctive vocals ala Richard Ashcroft singing Motown. Dreamy soulful Indie with good songs and catchy classic sounds as a backbone.  Better than average and not to be taken with a pinch of salt. Onlyman means serious pop business" - Dale Olivier, Matchbox Radio 24.
